Sebit is Our 19 yo distance runner who has automatic entry to All Schools Cross Country Nationals in Canberra 20 August. Sebit came to this club earlier this year with just the anticipation to make states and do well. He is from Akobo, Sudan and came to Australia for more opportunities. Like many of our versatile athletes here in TEES, Sebit is one of many african athletes who are flourishing in our club through carefully planned training and development. It is fantastic to see our African athletes go from strength to strength in their key events, considering the devasting circumstances these kids come from. It is easy to get kids fit, but it takes a great deal of development to get athletes running right and mentally prepare them, to keep them running efficiently to do personal bests, break state records and place at national level. These are the very elements we at TEES have consisently year after year have developed various athlete ages and events to. We continually show our presence of well groomed competing athletes at State and National Level.
